Our Doctors
Who directly performs the surgery?
A specialist doctor will personally examine, consult, and perform your treatment from start to finish — never delegating to technicians or non-medical personnel.
Who are the doctors at BonBoz?
BonBoz is currently home to two primary specialists: Dr. Nguyen Xuan Vu, MD, MSc (Specialist Level II) in plastic surgery, and Dr. Kim Kha in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
Among them, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Vu (Medical Director) directly oversees the plastic surgery division, which includes rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and thread lifts. Dr. Kim Kha is in charge of the dermatology and non-surgical aesthetics division, providing services such as acne treatment, Botox, and filler injections.
Nose & Eyelid Surgery
What are the different methods of rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty methods at BonBoz Clinic include structural rhinoplasty, cartilage-grafted rhinoplasty, and rib cartilage rhinoplasty. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, these procedures are individually tailored and recommended for each client by Dr. Vu at BonBoz Clinic. The specific technique and nose shape will be selected to suit each individual, based on an in-person consultation and a detailed assessment of their facial structure.
Will double eyelid surgery at BonBoz leave visible scars?
BonBoz utilizes a scar-concealing suturing technique that aligns precisely with the natural eyelid crease during double eyelid surgery. Performed directly by highly skilled specialists, this method helps minimize visible scarring. The final natural outcome depends on each individual's unique healing response, so a direct consultation with our doctors to evaluate your eyelid structure is necessary for accurate advice.
How do I know which nose or eyelid shape is right for me?
An in-person consultation with our doctor is required to accurately assess your facial structure. This is a mandatory step before any treatment plan can be proposed, which is why we do not provide specific design consultations via text message.
Should you undergo rhinoplasty at a young age (under 18)?
Generally, individuals under the age of 18 should not undergo rhinoplasty without the consent and accompaniment of a parent or legal guardian, as well as a direct consultation with a specialist. At BonBoz Clinic, for clients under 18, it is mandatory to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who fully understands and consents to the clinic's treatment plan before we proceed with the procedure. The decision to perform techniques such as structural rhinoplasty, autologous cartilage rhinoplasty, or rib cartilage rhinoplasty must be based on a direct examination and evaluation by a specialist to ensure safety and suitability for your physical condition.
Acne Treatment & Skincare
What is the acne treatment protocol at BonBoz?
The acne treatment process at BonBoz consists of 3 steps: Consultation, Intensive Treatment, and Skin Recovery—with personalized regimens designed by Dr. Kha for each specific type of acne instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, thereby minimizing the risk of scarring.
Can under-the-skin acne be treated?
Yes, under-the-skin acne is completely treatable. A dermatologist will need to conduct an in-person skin evaluation to design a tailored treatment plan, so we recommend booking a consultation for the most accurate assessment.
Can I get a consultation for skin redness/irritation?
Certainly, this falls within Dr. Kha's area of expertise in dermatology. You should schedule a consultation soon so the doctor can evaluate your condition and recommend the most suitable treatment plan.
Botox, Filler & Non-Surgical Aesthetics
What is the difference between Botox and Fillers?
Botox relaxes muscles and is used to treat dynamic wrinkles on the forehead and crow's feet. Fillers restore volume, making them ideal for areas that need plumping, such as the cheeks, chin, and lips. Our doctors will advise you on the most suitable option based on your specific needs.
What is a Thread Lift / Mini Facelift?
A thread lift is a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure that utilizes bio-absorbable threads to lift and rejuvenate the skin, whereas a Mini Facelift is a surgical procedure involving tissue dissection to address sagging with a higher level of invasiveness. Both procedures are performed at BonBoz Clinic by Dr. Vu.
What does non-surgical aesthetics include?
Aesthetic medicine services include Botox, fillers, mesotherapy, BAP, and skin boosters. These procedures are performed directly by Specialist Dermatologist Dr. Kha.
Aftercare & Recovery
What to avoid after surgery?
For surgical procedures (such as eyelid, nose, lip, and chin surgeries, fat grafting, etc.), you should avoid seafood, beef, glutinous rice, water spinach, alcohol, and stimulants for about 1 month. The specific list may vary depending on the procedure — your doctor will provide detailed instructions immediately after your treatment.
How long does recovery take?
Recovery times vary depending on the specific procedure — for example, eyelid suture removal is typically done on day 7, while nasal splint and suture removal takes place between days 5-14. For non-surgical treatments like Botox, results usually become noticeable within 7-14 days. Your doctor will provide a specific timeline tailored to your exact procedure.
Out-of-Town & Special Cases
Is BonBoz a hospital or just a spa/aesthetic clinic?
BonBoz is a licensed dermatology and medical aesthetics clinic where treatments are directly performed by specialized doctors—distinguishing us from conventional spas or beauty salons that operate without a medical license.
I live far away (in another province/abroad). Can I get a remote consultation?
You can receive an initial remote consultation by leaving your phone number in the form or calling our hotline. However, for surgical procedures, an in-person consultation with the doctor is still required to determine the final treatment plan.
Does BonBoz Clinic welcome international clients and overseas Vietnamese?
Yes. BonBoz offers consultations for domestic, overseas Vietnamese, and international clients — please leave your contact information to receive assistance.
How should I prepare for my consultation?
Please book your appointment in advance via our hotline or the website form. For surgical procedures, a Citizen Identity Card (CCCD) is mandatory by regulation; certain tests may require fasting beforehand — your doctor will provide specific instructions for each service during your consultation.
