Botox Treatment Cost by Area

Botox injection costs at BonBoz are calculated by treatment area: smaller areas such as frown lines, crow's feet, and the forehead are on the lower end; masseter reduction (jaw slimming) and larger areas are higher as they require more units. The choice of brand (Korean or US) accounts for the price variation within the range. The table below provides a reference range based on actual pricing over the past 12 months. The final quote will be determined by the physician after consultation, with no hidden fees.

How Botox Pricing Is Determined

Two factors: the treatment area (which determines the number of units required) and the brand of botulinum toxin. The glabella (frown lines), crow's feet, and forehead are smaller areas requiring fewer units. Masseter reduction (jawline slimming) requires more units due to the larger size of the masseter muscle. Larger areas (neck, shoulders, calves) require the highest number of units. Korean brands are priced lower than US brands for the same number of units; our doctors will advise you on the most suitable option based on your aesthetic goals and budget.

What the Price Includes

Doctor consultation, toxin according to the quoted number of units, topical numbing if needed, and a follow-up assessment after approximately two weeks for touch-ups if deemed necessary by the doctor. Once the quotation is finalized, there are no hidden or additional fees.

Factors That Cause Price Variations Within the Range

  • Muscle strength and mass: Larger masseter muscles and deeper wrinkles require more units.
  • Brand of toxin: Korean brands are at the lower end, while US brands are at the higher end.
  • Number of areas treated simultaneously: Each area is priced individually; treating multiple areas may offer package rates, which are clearly outlined in the quotation.

Botox Is Not a One-Time Expense

The effects of botox typically last four to six months before muscle activity gradually returns; maintenance injections are required to sustain results. When considering the cost, it is best to calculate on an annual basis (usually two to three treatments per year) rather than as a single session. Our doctors will advise you candidly if your concerns are static wrinkles or skin laxity—conditions that botox cannot resolve, where injections would result in unnecessary expenses without delivering desired outcomes.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there a price difference between Korean and US Botox, and which one is right for me?

The difference lies in the manufacturing origin and import costs; both are botulinum toxin type A. The doctor will choose based on the treatment area, your muscle anatomy, and your budget; Korean products yield great results for many smaller areas.

Is the price calculated per unit or per treatment area?

The doctor quotes by treatment area, which already includes the sufficient number of units required for that specific area. If your muscles require more units than usual, the doctor will inform you beforehand.

Is it cheaper to get multiple areas injected at the same time?

Each area is priced individually according to our fee schedule; the clinic may offer promotional packages when treating multiple areas, which will be clearly stated in the written quotation.

Is there a fee for the two-week follow-up touch-up session?

The follow-up consultation is included in the price. If the doctor determines that a small touch-up is needed for symmetry, it is usually free of charge; the doctor will explain this clearly in advance.

How often do I need re-injections, and what is the annual cost?

Typically every 4 to 6 months. On an annual basis, you will need 2 to 3 sessions per area; our consultants can help calculate your estimated annual total upon request.

Are my wrinkles suitable for Botox, or would it be a waste of money?

Botox is effective for dynamic wrinkles (caused by muscle movement). Deep static lines or skin laxity require other approaches; the doctor will provide a direct assessment during your consultation.

Is installment payment available?

Yes, installment plans are available through the clinic's partnered financial institutions, subject to their terms and conditions.

Are lab tests required before getting Botox injections?

Usually no. The doctor will evaluate your medical history regarding neuromuscular disorders, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and current medications prior to the injection.
