Dr. Kim Kha, MSc, Specialist I
Dr. Kim Kha is in charge of the dermatology and medical aesthetics department at BonBoz Clinic (66–68 Võ Văn Tần, TP.HCM). With a background in Aesthetic Dermatology, she does not apply a one-size-fits-all treatment to every client. Instead, she performs a skin analysis to identify the specific acne type and its root causes before designing a personalized regimen for each condition. This regimen is continuously adjusted during each follow-up visit based on the skin's actual response—rather than following a pre-set, rigid protocol from the start.
For Dr. Kha, behind every damaged skin condition lies a story: years of persistent melasma, premature aging triggered by stress, acne scars that erode self-confidence, or sensitive skin resulting from improper treatments elsewhere—clients who once believed they had to live with these imperfections forever. Rather than chasing instant results, she focuses on restoring a healthy skin foundation, ensuring medical-grade safety, and maintaining long-term natural beauty.
What brings Dr. Kha the greatest joy is not the praise for treatment outcomes, but the moment clients regain their self-confidence—the confidence to meet business partners, stand before a crowd, and pursue the career and life they desire. As she shares: "Aesthetic care is not about becoming someone else, but about loving your own version more."
Prior to joining BonBoz, Dr. Kha spent over 8 years practicing aesthetic dermatology across various environments: from the Aesthetic Dermatology Unit at Buu Dien General Hospital and Venus Sunrise clinic, to teaching skin theory at an aesthetic vocational school. This journey has equipped her with both strong clinical expertise and the ability to explain treatment procedures to clients in an easy-to-understand manner.
A real-life case Dr. Kha recently treated involved a young female client with a previously healthy skin foundation. After using a cosmetic set advertised for rapid whitening for several months, her skin developed redness, a burning sensation, widespread inflammatory acne, and a severely damaged skin barrier. Following 3 months of personalized treatment (combining oral medications, topical treatments, skin barrier restoration, and phase-based procedures), her skin stabilized. Dr. Kha always emphasizes to her clients: do not chase advertisements promising "rapid whitening or instant acne clearance"—healthy skin requires treating the root cause, the correct medical indications, and sufficient time.
